This cupcakes set is to celebrate a sweet little girl’s birthday. Happy 2nd birthday to Grace! Hope you like these little fellas :)

This order came from Qory. She wants specific items to be displayed on each cupcake. I had a complete fun with this project, ummm….not to mention the first toilet topper I have to make. I was so afraid I couldn’t do a 3D toilet, so I took precautions by having an edible image printed along with the others (logos). The toilet turned out quite ok, I guess……

 

   

   

Who’s having a birthday anyway? Looks like the kids are more enthusiastic at blowing candles :) Of course, they were quite a helping hand at decorating the simple birthday cake…..

This was my first attempt at Japanese cheesecake. I didn’t use any jam for the topping, but simply whipped cream and fresh cherries. The recipe as follows:

Japanese Cheese Cake

Buku Soft Cake & Moist Cake by SEDAP
 
Bahan cake:
 
100gram cream cheese
25 gram mentega tawar
50 gram krim kental
1/2 sdt kulit jeruk lemon
1/2 sdt air jeruk lemon
40 gram tepung terigu protein rendah
50 gram kuning telor, kocok lepas
100 gram putih telor
1/8 sdt garam
1/4 sdt cream of tartar
50 gram gula pasir
 
Bahan olesan :
1 sdm selai aprikot
1 tetes pewarna kuning
25 ml air
 
Cara membuat:
1. Cake: tim cream cheese sampai keju larut. matikan api. masukkan mentega tawar dan krim kental. aduk rata. tambahkan kulit jeruk lemon dan air jeruk lemon, aduk rata.
2. tuang sedikit2 ke dalam tepung terigu yang sudah diayak sambil diaduk perlahan. tambahkan kuning telor, aduk rata. sisihkan.
3. kocok putih telor, garam, dan cream of tartar sampai setengah mengembang. tambahkan gula pasir sedikit sedikit sambil dikocok sampai mengembang.
4. masukkan sedikit2 ke dalam campuran tepung terigu sambil diaduk perlahan.
5. tuang di loyang bulat diameter 20cm dan tinggi 4cm yang dialas kertas roti tanpa dioles margarin. Letakkan loyang berisi adonan ini di dalam loyang lebih besar yang diberi 3 sdm air.
6. oven adonan 45 menit sambil direndam dengan api bawah, suhu 160 derajat Celcius sampai matang.
7. Olesan: panaskan selai aprikot, air, dan pewarna kuning sambil diaduk sampai selai larut. oles diatas cake. biarkan dingin.
